Sometimes The Smallest Things Just Tickle Me
I have been asked by a couple gun shop owners if I make a holster for the North American Arms .22 Cal. Mini Revolver, I have never considered it before. I had Pat from Copper Star Indoor Shooting RangeĀ Copper Star show me the gun. It actually looks like a “Key Fob” for a key ring it is so small.

Many of Pat’s customers were carrying this little gun in their pocket or in a knife sheath. Of those 2 options the sheath is a lot safer but not ideal because the fit was so poor.
The dang thing is just so small…
After trying to pattern a holster for this thing for a couple days I started to look at the whole knife sheath idea. Well, those didn’t look good and we already know the fit is cr@p! Looking at the tossed pancake patterns I held a sheath up there and BINGO! A combination of the two was the answer!
Ok, I have solved the dilemma. Now to build it…
So here you can see the difference in size. After deciding to use the best parts of the Pancake and knife sheath the style that I decided to use is much like a “Pocket knife” sheath.

No big trick, just a pocket knife holster with a gun in it!
After wet molding this is what I came up with. They will soon be in the gun stores and we will see how the customer like them!
